John Lankester Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lankester (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Danka; his children, Katherine (Kevin), Richard (Sally), Hugh (Deanna), Chris (Jonafe) and Dave (Kirsten); his siblings, Jim, Ross and Una; his siblings-in-law, Gin, Caro, Tess, Rich (Gillian), Timothy (Denise), Etienne (Jan) and Anni; and his mother London. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated.
