He is survived by: his wife Barb; his sons, Michael (Marie-Hélène) and Craig (Leslie); and his grandchildren, Mathias, Sebastian, Cédric, Aileen and Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Doug's memory to May Court Hospice and Music and Beyond.
