He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hayes; his parents, John Coyle and Jane McCambley (Jennie); and his siblings, Mary, Joe, Clarence, Helen (Nelson McLaughlin), Lima (Jack Plunkett), Maureen Anthony (Gerald Murray) and Eileen (Raymond McLaughlin).
He is survived by: his sister Edith (late Albert Cuddihey). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
