It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joey Tyo (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tyo and Mary Tyo; his siblings, Dorothy King, Ann Wolfe, Grace Richmire, Margaret Richmire, Marie Locey, Daniel and Adolphus Tyo; and his granddaughter Chantal Tyo.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tyo; his children, Sandra Keeler (Hank) of Glen Becker, Elvis Tyo (Tammy) of Morrisburg and Timothy Tyo (Lacey Bradford-Richardson) of Iroquois; his sibling Cecil Tyo (Marie) of Glen Becker; his grandchildren, Brad (Kelly), Tera (Terry), Alan (Brooke), Daniel, Marissa (Dillon), Moranda (Justice), Dustin (Josie), Madison (Quinton), Hunter (Kelly) and Scarlet; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Kiera, Gavin, Carter, Dominick, Emmett, Aubrey, Leah, Kensley and Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
