She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kate Bowden (Wainwright) and George Alfred Bowden; her former husband John Edward Rehder (Ned); her husband Gerard Hopkins (Gerry); her children, Christine (Lee Horne), Eric (Maxine), Jonathan, Mark and Michael (Jane Biggs); her stepchildren, Bruce (Carole Russell), Pamela (Alex Goncharenko), Diana (John Rosseel) and Phillip (Mary); her grandchildren, Andrea, Tony, Shawn, Jamie, Mark, Marianne and Rebecca; and her stepgrandchildren, Bill, Thom, Justin, Des, Nickolas, Madi and Natasha. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
