It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Smallman (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald P Smallman; her children, Shane, Katherine (Coates) and Michael; her grandchildren, Trent, Damon, Corbin, Brittany, Ocean, Samuel and Zachary; her great grandchild Jackson; and her son-in-law Philip Coates.

Family and friends may visit the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Road) on Monday, November 8 from 1:00 p. m. until the time of the Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p. m. Following COVID Protocol the family has requested that attendance be only available to fully vaccinated guests and will be strictly limited to registered guests.
