She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Matthew Neilson; her brothers-in-law, George Patrick and Stuart Forbes; her sister Barbara Forbes; her great grandchild Kal Anthony; and her parents, Fanny Lavis and Frederick Lavis.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Patrick (Marlene), Diane Perron (Dominique) and Barbara Neilson; her grandchildren, Christopher Oliver (Justine Ghantous), Jamie Oliver (Puneet Birgi), Allison Patrick (Dillon Anthony) and Kendra Patrick; her stepgrandchildren, Marc Perron (Kimberley), Denis Perron (Krystel) and Chantal Perron (Chris Anderson); her great grandchildren, Alexy, Amelya, Eleanor and Kaylee; her sister-in-law Christa Patrick of Burlington; her cousin Willis Lavis (Phyliss) of St Catherines; and her nephews, David, Ian, Ross Forbes, Andrew and Scott Patrick. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
