She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Nancy (Brent Doherty) and Cynthia Hunter (Bryan Fevrier); her grandchildren, Jennifer Doherty, Christopher Doherty, Curtis Doherty, Jarrett Hunter-Fevrier and Jordan Hunter-Fevrier; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Girard and Kaylie Girard. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ottawa Heart Institute, or the Ottawa Humane Society in Joan's honor.
