Joan Layberry Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Layberry (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 74, on December 29, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Findlay; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her children, Warren (Renée Guidolin), Janet (Joanne Duval) and Heather; her grandchildren, Craig and Kristen; her great grandchild Madison; her siblings, Antoinette McKennirey (Michael), Lois Leahy (late Aelred), George (Joan Kirkpatrick), Garry (Helen Robillard), Martin (Darlene Tasker), Jerry (Gloria Pratt), Warren (Paula Sullivan) and Paula Lortie (Peter Stewart); and her close friend Wendy Hughes. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.

A service will be held at a later date to allow for a larger congregation than is currently allowed under Covid restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ottawa's Grace Manor long-term-care home, where she was much loved and very well taken care of, would be greatly appreciated.
