It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan (King) Blakley (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan (King) Blakley to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara King and Murray King; and her brother Roy King (Fran). She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Canon John Wilker-Blakley (Wendy) and Catherine Blakley Harris (Robert Kalbfleisch); and her brother John King (Lorna). She is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
