She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Sweetman; her parents, John Liston Dickson and Margaret Joan Dickson; and her siblings, John Dickson, Jill Sinclair and Jane Dickson.

She is survived by: her son Bill Sweetman; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Bobrowski; her siblings, Reverend Jo Tyers and Ian Dickson; and her sister-in-law Debi Dickson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
