She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Winnifred. She is survived by: her sister Jane (Conrad); her son David (Barb); her grandchildren, Kellianne (Storm), Chris (Heidi), Tressa (Trevor) and Chad (Lyndsi); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Nova, Scottlyn and Sully.
In addition to being a very community-minded, loving, and caring person herself, Jennie was a voracious book reader, having read over 400 books during the COVID pandemic, an excellent seamstress making outfits for her grand- and great-grandchildren, and an avid gardener having been awarded the 2006 Ladybug Award for the best organic garden in Ottawa.
The family also requests that, in lieu of flowers, remembrances of Jennie can be made in the form of contributions to the Almonte General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
