Jeffrey Cathcart Barnabe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey. Peacefully, in the early morning of January 31, 2024. Family at his side said our final goodbyes after his brief illness.

Loving husband to the late Louise Barnabe, devoted father to David and Michelle (Michael), proud papa to Mackenzie and Courtney and big brother to Ned (Barbara) and Linda. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his caring nature and love of sports, and will forever be in our hearts.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa Law School, Jeffrey was a brilliant lawyer, and also lived out his passion for baseball with his friend Bill MacKenzie, being part of the Montreal Expos and Ottawa-Nepean Canadians organizations.

A special thank you the staff at the Ottawa Hospital, for their professionalism and kindness during this difficult time.

A family service will take place in the spring.
