He was predeceased by: his brother Gerard "Nick"; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Sharron; his children, John (Stephanie) and Rosanne (Ronald Campbell); his grandchild Ryan; and his siblings, Mike (Vivian), John (Danielle), Nicole and Huguette (JC Leroux). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
