“Jean & I were tennis friends, she would replace me @ Winter tennis when I went to Florida. She was one year younger with both of us having January birthdays.. We really got to know each other the Year of the Disabled as both of our late husbands had suffered strokes. I had spoken with Jean about a year ago as Jeanette Labelle would fill me with news of their long lasting friendship since school. Jeanette is a neighbour of my husband & myself- Shirley Yakabuski.
