It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Maurice Filion (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary-Theresa. He is survived by: his children, Maifa (Andy Taylor), Joanna (Tim Dowell) and JP (Marta Alonso); his sister Lise Filion; and his sister-in-law Barbara Green. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
