With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janko Staresinic of Ottawa, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janko Staresinic to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his nephews, Ivan and Tom; his niece Sandy; and his siblings, Joseph (Olga), Frank (Marjetka), Angela and Marija Miketic (Franje).
He is survived by: his wife Marija; his sons, John (Carolyn) and Joe (Anita); his sister Frances; and his sons, Janez, Joze and Tata. He is also survived by one of six siblings.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
