She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Ruest; her parents, Émerie Roy and Delphine Roy; her son Alain Ruest; her great grandchild Jakob Ruest; and her siblings, Bernard Roy and Simone Doré.
She is survived by: her children, Roch Ruest (Joanne Sabourin), Luc Ruest (Joanne), Sylvie Ruest and André Ruest; her grandchildren, Stéfan (Melissa), Kristian, Nikolas (Kristin), Joel (Rebecca), Chelsea, Chanelle, Dominique (Nick) and Émilie; her great grandchildren, Maya, Max, Mackenzie, Maxwell, Sullivan, Roland and Coralie; and her sibling Camille Roy (Denise).
