She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Vedder; her siblings, Henk, Heintje (Peet Vedder), Willem, Willy (Evert van Schuur) and Ranger; and her parents, Jannetje (Rakhorst) and Aalbert.

She is survived by: her children, Jake (Marianne), Bert (Shirley), Gail (Ype VanderVeen), John (Cathy), Fred (Kathryn) and Hank (Rose); and her grandchildren, Jason (Heather), Scott (Janine), Steve (Chan), Matt (Pri), Adam, Rod (Julie), Lisa (Mike), Josh (Vicki), Jenn (Jason), Tony (Jess), Deb (Brian), Natasha (Yemi), Dan (Cassandra), Akira, Sarah (Tom), Stephanie (Kyle), Aaron (Janelle), Tyler (Jalyn), Brianna (Andrew), Jill (Dave) and Joel (Elia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
