She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Ernest Martin and Sarah Rebecca MacDonald; her husband George; her children, Gail (Reg Plummer) and Keith (Anne); her granddaughter Victoria Dawson; and her nieces, Marilyn Burans and Barbara Clarke.

Jane contracted COVID in late October 2022 and suffered complications and setbacks in the months following.
