He was predeceased by: his parent William James; his former wife Margaret Christina MacIver; his wife Joan; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his parent Rachel Cook; his son William (Bernadette); his grandchildren, Tracey (Corey) and Billy; his son John (Jane); his grandchildren, Daniel (Lauren) and Maggie; his great grandchildren, Liam and Connor; his stepdaughter Jennifer (Barry); his nieces, Joanne (Joe) and Deborah (Mack); and also, Sara and Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations be made in memory of Bill to the charity of your choice.
