He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Maloney of Cantley, QC and John Slobodian (Jack) of Galicia; and his brothers, John and Edgar. He is survived by: his brother Gerald (Marcelle Hubert); his cousin Evelyn Maloney; his in-laws, Claudette, Tom McConville, Sunanda and Ashoke Pacey; and his children, Louise (Richard Cohen) and Michael (Marian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
