He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphy and Loyola MacKell; and his sisters, Valerie Grimes and Judith McKinney. He is survived by: his brother Patrick; his daughters, Pamela (Rolly), Julia (Brian) and Sally Morency (Ron); his grandchildren, Jordan (Adriana), Madeleine (Kurt), Natalie, Brendan (Alicia), Dalen, Sam and Kate; and his great grandchildren, Ava and Jett.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa would be greatly appreciated.
