It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Neelin (Ottawa, Ontario), born in London, Ontario, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Elisabeth "Betty" Neelin; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his children, Lisa (EJ), Peter (Kim) and David (Kerry); his daughter-in-law Lyndal; his grandchildren, Beth, Rebekah, Gevie (Cam), Gwen (André), Rachael, Ben (An-Le), Mikhaela, Anna (Gideon), Liese, Zane and Gregg; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Margot Robinson, Iris Goddard, Robyn, Michael Evans and Athena-Noelle Scott.
Memorial Donations to Knox Presbyterian Church Ottawa or Centretown Community Food Centre are welcomed.
