He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Barbara Simpson; his children, Heather Maxwell and Hilary Maxwell (Matt Dubord); his parents, Nathalie Maxwell and Peter Maxwell of Montreal; his siblings, Ailsa (Jim Dryburgh), Diana (Craig Mooney), Andrew (Sue) and Andrea (Fred Olsen); and his nieces and nephews, Tom, Steve, Geoffrey, David, Nick, Stuart, Ryan, Derek and Nichole.
