He was predeceased by: his parents, George Atkin and Doreen Atkin. He is survived by: his wife Louise Atkin; his daughter Sinead Erin Atkin Tsang (Andrew Tsang); his grandchildren, Sophia Rose and Nathaniel Ryan; his stepgranddaughter Diane Laura; and his brother Denis Atkin.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County or St. Patrick's Home Ottawa would be greatly appreciated.
