He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his granddaughter Lora; his grandson-in-law Basim Muzib; his parents, Laura Baptiste and Jean Baptiste; and his siblings, Gabrielle, Gilberte, Murielle, Jeannette, Roger, Fernand and Raymond.

He is survived by: his children, Jean-Paul (Nicole Granger), Jeannette (Michel Verdon) and Louise (Andre Seguin); his granddaughters, Tania, Josée (Jonathan Raymond), Natalie (James Chu), Melanie (Michael Dean) and Stephanie (Steve Friedman); his great grandchildren, Félix, Vimy, Jack, Cédric, Lindy, Gabriel, Luke and Ève; and his sisters, Rita and Suzanne.
