She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodolphe Deschamps and Noella (Lamarche) Deschamps; and her brother Jean-Marie (Marie). She is survived by: her husband Rheal Meilleur; her children, Elaine, Gilles, Lynne (Jason Riddell) and Michel (Tania); her grandchildren, Michael (Caitlin), Tania (Shawn), Venetia (Brady), Devin, Chad (Jenna), Landon (Nina), Ella and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Landon and Julia; and her siblings, Jean-Guy (Huguette), Rolland (Aline), Gaetan (Nicole), Lise (Gerry), Therese (Dan) and Micheline (Jean-Yves).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Hospital (Please specify Ottawa General Hospital Palliative Care Program), the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA (Cornwall Branch) in honour of her beloved little companion Friskie.
