It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isobel Day (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Isobel Day to pay them a last tribute.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Isobel leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Isobel may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Day; her parents, Joseph Faris and Blanche Hodgson; her sister Inez Maclean; and her nephew James Maclean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Darch (Bill McInerney) and Jennifer Day. She is also survived by two nieces, a nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (315 McLeod St, Ottawa, ON K2P1A2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
