He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine (Kennedy); his sons, Shaun and Jeffrey; his parents, Wilfred and Gladys; and his brothers, Alvin and Terry (Brenda).
He is survived by: his close friend Kathryn Helmer; his children, Jimmy and Kelly (Dave Pooli); his grandchildren, Seamus (Meleka), Keltie (Marcus), Liam, Colin, Mila, Kira and Colter; and his siblings, Jim, Alma (Walter Sullivan), Lorraine (late Hilton Mahoney), Lionel (Bonnie), Janet (late Jack Lynch) and Jean (Kevin Forrest). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
