She was predeceased by: her husband Rainer. She is survived by: her sons, Rainer (Marlene) of Canmore, Bernhardt (Liz) of Nelson, B. C., Martin of Toronto, Paul of Calgary and Richard of Qingdao China; her grandchildren, Tamara, Karl, Leanna, Erica and Annette; and her brothers, Kurt (Ruth), Gerd (Sylvia) and Ekkehard (Nancy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
