With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Craig (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 4, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Craig and Samuel Craig; and her sisters, Frances Craig and Ruth Wright (late Robert "Bob"). She is survived by: her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah and Ben; and her friend Valerie Sims.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Community Foundation of Ottawa would be appreciated.

“Iris was a very special person and human being. I had the privilege to meet with her on several occasions when she was PIPSC' president. She was always available and willing to listen to our point of view even if she, for some reasons, not in agreement with our concerns. I remember her as a very open and respectful person putting the members interests in front of her views or beliefs. I would like to express my personnel sympathies to her family and friends. Iris I will always remember you as a humanistic and friendly person amongst the few I've met. Thanks for all and rest in peace (RIP).”
