Irene G. Broeders Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2023, at the age of 84, Irene G. Broeders (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnete Larsen (Petersen) and Fred Larsen; her brothers, Kaj Larsen and Jim Larsen; and her brothers-in-law, George Rizopoulos, Les Russell and Leigh Bowden.

She is survived by: her great grandchild Michael Porteous; and her siblings, Elsie Rizopoulos (Larsen), Lillian Russell (Larsen), Willy Larsen (Bonnie) and Annette Bowden (Larsen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Donations can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society to honour Irene's love of animals.
