It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imrich Stolarik Junior (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Imrich Stolarik Sr. and Margita Vavro; and his sister Veronica (late John Zongora). He is survived by: his wife Marie-Antoinette (Sylvestre); his children, Kristine (John Scapillati) and Gregory (Angelita Cabuga); his grandchildren, Dominique, Laura Marie and Gregg Bernan; his siblings, Milan (Marilyn), Margita (late George Moore), Mark (Ann) and Hyacinta (late Laci Belloni); and his godchildren, Laci Belloni, Catherine Zongora, Denis Sylvestre, Jerome Papineau, Michael Stolarik and Misko Simoncic. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of Imrich's life will be announced at a future date.
In Memoriam, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital-Geriatric Day Hospital or the Ottawa Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
