He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Dinel and Rita Villemure; and his siblings, Gabrielle (Paul), Claude (Mila) and Daniel (Stephanie).

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Leighton; his children, Kyle (Nicole) and Briana (Anthony); his grandchild Danica; and his siblings, Therese (Denis), Gilberte (Paul), Robert (Doli), Francoise (Gord), Normand (Anne Marie), Bernie (Mario) and Etienne (Claude). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
