She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Hans Leuenberger; her children, Heinrich (Ruth), Andreas (Therese), Heidi, Erich (Monika), Ernest and Robert (Donata); her grandchildren, Lukas, Barbara, Stefan, Christof, Timothy, Daniel, Sarah, Fabio, Tanja, Philip and Simon; her great grandchildren, Leon, Ladina, Timon, Olivia, Yairo and Tye; and her sister Silvia (late Arnold Benner).
