She was predeceased by: her sisters, Marion Merson and Margaret Stacey. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen (Ian) and Kathy (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Erin (Brandon) and Matthew (Caitlyn). She is also survived by extended family members and life-long friends.

Living with Parkinson's disease in her later years, she remained an independent and social individual who enjoyed all group activities, especially bingo!
