With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen (Ruddy) Sheehan (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy. She is survived by: her husband Patrick; her brother Pat Ruddy Karen (Bev); her children, Jennifer (Lewis) and Niall (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ryan, Kaylyn, Kieran, Jessica and Ayden; her niece Janet Sheehan (Brad); and her father Jack Ruddy.

She was an outstanding teacher and I tried to emulate her skills. “Miss Helen” was greatly loved by so many little ones over the long years of her career.
