She was predeceased by: her husband Orval Hewitt; her parents, Wilbert Lewis and Muriel Lewis; her daughter Joan Kingston; and her siblings, Freda Livingston (late Bob) and Eric Lewis (late Ila).

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Johnston (Glen), Brian Hewitt (Cyndi), Freda Pepper (Cecil), Wayne Hewitt, Jean McGrath (Rick), George Hewitt (Susan), David Hewitt, Ronnie Hewitt (Jackie) and Susan Cordick (Kevin); her sister Audrey Coutts (late Alan); and her sister-in-law Marie Hewitt (late Elton). She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to current Covid restrictions a private family service will be held with interment following at Maple Vale Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Covid restrictions require that donations may be made online, or by mailing a cheque (made payable to the charity) to the funeral home.
