We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Hayward Joseph Leon (Ottawa, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond and Alice (Lavallee); his grandson Nicholas; and his siblings, Raymond, Herb, Hubert, Viola, Dilbert, Gloria, Alcida and Carter.

He is survived by: his wife Madeleine (Hoskins); his children, Brian (Andrea), Duane (Renee) and Tammy (Larry); his grandchildren, Christen, Madeleine, Patrick, Hayward, Thomas, Stephen and Sarah; and his sister Stella Driscoll (Charlie). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

For those who wish to donate in memory of Hayward, the family would ask you consider the Canadian Cancer Society or Autism Speaks Canada.

“Madeleine, Brian, Duane, Tammy, extended families and friends. Curt and I were saddened to see Hayward’s handsome face in our local newspaper knowing it meant Hayward had passed. Remembering many happy memories of our time together at the foot of the hill in our little ‘village’ in Deer Lake during Hind’s Lake project. Thinking of you all with a heavy heart. It was a joy to see the pictures posted especially seeing the kids as adults. In love and friendship. ❤️”
