He was predeceased by: his parents, Sieger Vandermeer and Grietje Vandermeer. He is survived by: his children, Melanie (Michael Stassen), Jonathan, Brent (Lisa) and Timothy (Jenny); his grandchildren, Madi, Ethan Stassen, Ryan, Katie, Adam, Becca Vandermeer, Maeva and Tobin Vandermeer; and his siblings, Arnold Vandermeer, Sue Sampson, Jenny Vandermeer, Ann and Jim Burkholder. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.
