With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Townsend (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Alcove, Québec, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold Townsend to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda (Peter Clennett); his brother Duane (Barbara); and his parents, Ruby Townsend and Alfred Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Debbie (Barry Gregory) and Jim (Nancy); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Joshua, Michael, Robert, Brian (Emily), Allison, Heather and Andrew; his great grandchild Mason; his stepgrandson Michael Gregory; his sister Doreen (David Godwin); and his brother-in-law Harold "Harky" Milks (Jocelyne). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service and burial will be scheduled for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society or Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
