He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jenks and Georgina Jenks; his siblings, Ken Jenks and Marion Jenks (Brown); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Cummings of Ottawa and Ronald.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Jenks; his children, Stacey Ansell and Glenn Ansell; his grandchildren, Ryan and Abigail; and his sisters-in-law, Joan, Judy Smith and Kathy Good. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
