She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Magee; her son Don (Kathy); her father John Wright; and her brother Earl. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kelly (Kyle), Scott (Krystal), Alison (Phil), Heather (Dusty), Hilary (Adam), Colleen (Matt), Corrina (Brad), Andrew and Cassidy (Ryan); her sister Fern (Dan); her brothers-in-law, Tom (Sharon) and Bill; and her mother Alice Wright. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Osgoode Care Centre, an organization for which Gwen was a founding board member and major fundraiser.
