With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guendolin Thomas (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on August 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelsada Harriot and Dudley Hammil; and her sisters, Mable and Edna. She is survived by: her spouse Omroy Thomas; her children, Patrick, Andrew, Hugh, Steve, Richard, Janet and Lesley; her grandchildren, Kareem, Andrew Jr., Zhidani, Natalie, Melissa, Cherard, Taylor-Ann and Morgann; and her brothers, Leslie, Clinton and Arnold Gone. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
