He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Wardlaw and William Wardlaw; and his brother-in-law Markku Erkvaara. He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen and Cathie Wardlaw (Garnet Thompson); his nieces and nephews, Maria Saffioti (Omar Guechtal), Maggie Saffioti (Anthony Di Michele), Gregory Erkvaara (Shannon Ellis), Mellanie Erkvaara (Jeff Cohoon) and Stephanie Erkvaara (Chris McCully); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebeka, Charlotte, Beatrice, Skyler, Piper, Harper, Sawyer, Suvi and Sanna; and his brother-in-law Joe Saffioti.
