He is survived by: his mother-in-law Betty Anne Hart; his wife Jill Elizabeth Johnston; his siblings, George Anderson (Kimberley) and Kathie McHale (late Tom); his nephews, Kurt DesRoches and Michael McHale (Becky Nugent); his great-nephew Thomas Michael McHale; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Hart (Leslie), Bonny Fleury (James Barry) and Judy Goobie (Ron).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society (https://ottawahumane.ca) or the Queensway Carleton Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
