He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Lee and Walter Lee; his grandparents, Helen and Hollis Marden; his mother-in-law Molly Petrie; and his brother-in-law David Keith Petrie.

He is survived by: his nephews, Sean and Kevin Petrie; his cousins, Stewart Sargent (Donna) and Lee Petford; his godchildren, Patti-Kim Carlson, Julie Carlson-Pilon and Jamie Carlson; and his wife Cathy Petrie.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6).

In lieu of flowers, donation to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
