He was predeceased by: his sister Faith McPhail (Gerry); his parents, Mary Ann Holmes and Frederick Russell Holmes; and his mother-in-law Mary Doris. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Rhonda and Kent; his grandchild Denali; his siblings, Virtue Beurling, Vi Lowe (Bob) and Reta Desmarais (John); and his father-in-law Peter Jones.
