We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 92, Giusto Truglia (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Giusto Truglia to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Giuseppina Macrillo; his parents, Giuseppe and Elisabetta; and his siblings, Giovanni and Maria.

He is survived by: his sons, Joe (Anne Lamar) and Enzo; his brother Antonio (Lucia Misdea); his nieces, Elvira (Angel Mota) and Linda (Dave Moncur); and his great-niece Sabina. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

There are no words that will ease the grief of the loss of a father but in time your memories will give you comfort. I visited him a few weeks ago and as weak as he was he kept insisting that Joe eat some cookies and then laughed when Joe made a joke. He was a force, may he rest in peace, my dad will love having his company again.”
